Designed as the ideal upgrade path for existing MIFARE Classic infrastructures, MIFARE Plus is fully compatible with MIFARE Classic 1K and 4K cards, allowing organisations to enhance security without replacing their entire system.
Following a security upgrade, MIFARE Plus utilises AES-128 (Advanced Encryption Standard) technology for robust authentication, data integrity, and encryption. Built on open global standards for both air interface communication and cryptographic methods, it delivers advanced security for modern contactless applications.
MIFARE Plus X offers enhanced flexibility, enabling optimisation of command flows for both speed and confidentiality. It includes an extensive feature set, such as proximity checking to help protect against relay attacks.
