The Evolis Avansia is a Retransfer Technology Printer with "Over the Edge" print.  The advantages of a Retransfer printer is that it prints onto a clear film that is then fused onto the face of the card and the printhead does not come into direct contact with the card during printing. 

The Avansia is a reliable and robust printer.  It provides high quality and high security card issuance with 600 dpi resolution printing. It prints at the fast speed of 140 single-sided colour cards per hour and is ideal for medium to large print quantities.  It has a high capacity input and output hopper (250 cards) which results in less interruptions when printing.
