The HDP5000 prints a reverse image on the underside of HDP film and then fuses the film to the card surface, resulting in a glossy photo-like finish rather than a standard ID badge. Printing on film instead of directly on the card ensures that the uneven surfaces of technology cards, making it the ideal option for printing onto Proximity cards or Smartcards.
The HID FARGO HDP5000 has a versatile modular design which allows change as your printing requirements change. Ribbons and overlaminates come in cartridges that are quick and easy to load.
